Discovering Hands

discovering hands uses the superior sense of touch of visually impaired women and trains them to become professional medical tactile examiners. Tactilography is the complementary form of diagnosis in early breast cancer detection for all age groups. Together with Designstudio Mathilda Mutant and Studio Less, KK Studio managed the visual communication of the social media presence and press activities between 2020 and 2022. This included creating SM graphics, consulting with external illustrators, organizing photo shoots and designing various print products. In 2021 there was a collaboration with the oilcloth manufacturer Wachsling for whom KK Studio developed a pattern and postcard to encourage breast cancer screening.
