Jahrestagung der Gesellschaft für Medienwissenschaften

This year’s theme of Jahrestagung der Gesellschaft für Medienwissenschaften at the University in Mainz was »gather together«. From 25 to 28 September 2024, the thematic focus was on media, orders, forms and critical practices of gathering, which can relate to images and data, bodies and political collectives, archives and evidence, architectures and infrastructures. The design concept focused on a typographic translation of the compilation of information and was developed in collaboration with Marcel Backscheider.
